This Mergstyle whisk was meticulously assembled to portray the phases of the moon. The moons are constructed of bleached and black broomcorn. The sky background is made of black uncut, and cut broomcorn- which reveals the lighter center of the fiber and gives a lovely mottled night sky effect. This broom is stitched flat and features a fiber skirt made of the bleached broomcorn from the moons.
